2. High-temperature superconducting technology will be greatly developed in the future. Because high-temperature superconducting cables have the advantages of relatively low price, large capacity, low loss, and no electromagnetic pollution, they are highly valued internationally, and many countries have raised the development of superconducting industries to strategic heights. China has made major breakthroughs in high temperature superconducting technology.
At the same time, on the basis of high-temperature cables, the national related plans also set up support for major projects of "high-temperature superconducting power transmission". At present, China imports about 2 billion yuan of high-temperature cables from abroad for domestic construction. It is estimated that by 2020, the market for global superconducting applications will reach 244 billion US dollars (about 146.9 billion yuan), and high-temperature superconducting cables account for about 5%. Share. Therefore, the development and application of high temperature superconducting technology will be an important technology in the wire and cable industry in the future.
3. The aluminum rare earth optimization treatment technology will be greatly developed. The production of electrical aluminum rods by continuous casting and rolling process has been quite popular in China and its performance is also good. But the equipment is still at the level of the early 1970s, and there is not much innovation in technology. It is necessary to actively promote China's unique aluminum rare earth optimization treatment technology, and use some of the key special equipment and technology introduced to add aluminum-zirconium alloy, transform the molten aluminum coal-fired furnace into molten aluminum fuel or natural gas furnace, all eliminate the melting of aluminum-fired coal-fired furnace The emission of soot and flue gas, and the installation of flue gas filtering device to purify the flue gas, improve the emission quality, improve the yield, reduce the cost, and increase the working temperature of the wire from 70 ° C to 150 ° C, and the current carrying capacity is increased by 1.6 times.
Aluminum-based copper technology has been proposed for many years. It has been widely used in countries such as Europe and the United States. The scope of application in Asia is not extensive. However, in recent years, many wire and cable companies in China have begun to try aluminum-based copper. The US General Cable has even developed a standard system for aluminum alloy cables with the Shanghai Electric Wire and Cable Research Institute. Because copper has better electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity than aluminum, and can reduce the loss of electrical energy when delivering current, it has been difficult for wire and cable manufacturers to cut. At present, more than 60% of China's wire and cable industry uses copper to make cables. Due to the scarcity of copper resources, and the current proven copper resources in China have been deep or even over-exploited.
The electrical conductivity of aluminum alloy cables is comparable to that of copper-core cables. Its flexibility is superior to that of copper-core cables. It has changed the shortcomings of poor mechanical strength, low fatigue resistance, and accidents at joints. It ensures the continuous stability of the cable connection under the condition of long-term overload and overheating, and also compensates for the memory effect and high rebound performance of the traditional copper cable, which reduces the line loss.
In addition, from the aspects of raw material production, processing, manufacturing, transportation, installation, operation, and recycling, aluminum alloy cables have incomparable economic and environmental advantages compared with traditional copper core cables. Undoubtedly, it will be the best substitute for copper cables. This is a good thing for light wire and cable companies with heavy materials. At least it can reduce the demand for funds. We must know that China is a country with little copper production. By import, but it is indeed a big aluminum country. Not only that, the price of aluminum is much lower than the price of copper, which is undoubtedly very beneficial for reducing the demand for funds.
4. With the emergence of environmental pollution such as smog, people today pay more and more attention to environmental protection. The wire and cable industry is no exception, and it is bound to face environmental protection requirements. The environmental protection of the wire and cable industry mainly refers to the environmental protection of materials. At present, a large number of polymer materials such as rubber, polyvinyl chloride and polyethylene are used in the production of wire and cable. A large amount of toxic and harmful gases are produced during the production process. Therefore, we must actively develop environmentally friendly materials and produce environmentally friendly wire and cable. After the development of environmentally-friendly wire and cable, Japan’s Fujikura and other cable companies actively promoted the government’s environmentally-friendly wire and cable product standards in order to monopolize the market. In recent years, the sales share of environmentally-friendly wire and cable has expanded dramatically, and ordinary wire and cable and flame-retardant wire and cable cannot compete with it at all. In addition, the corner residuals generated during the production of wire and cable can be directly recycled.
5. From the perspective of the installation of wires and cables, it is also facing a new development trend, that is, the sheath is thin and the section is miniaturized. In view of the convenience of installation, use and transportation, and at the same time reducing the cost of raw materials as much as possible, wire and cable products are increasingly developing a tendency that the cable develops into a thinner sheath with a smaller cross section and a guaranteed current carrying capacity. Compared to the first few, this requires an integrated wire and cable industry technology.
